Clients reviews about Marcus Refinishing INC

I’ve worked with Marcus Refinishing for about five years now, and Marcus has completed several projects for me at different properties. His work has always been excellent, professional, and reliable. Over the years he has remodeled bathrooms, built an outdoor shower, installed a new vinyl fence, replaced my roof, painted the exterior of my home, worked on the driveway and patio, updated electrical outlets and switches, installed baseboards and baseboard heaters, and completed a full remodel of two bathrooms at another property I own off Cape. Every project was completed on time, at a fair price, and with great attention to detail. Marcus is always punctual, communicates well, and takes pride in the quality of his work. I highly recommend Marcus Refinishing to anyone looking for a dependable contractor who delivers great results. ~ Mark H

Marcus Refinishing INC did an outstanding kitchen remodeling project at our home in Cape Cod, MA. From design planning to final installation, the entire process was smooth, organized, and professionally handled. The cabinet installation, tile work, and flooring completely transformed our kitchen — the attention to detail was impressive. Marcus personally supervised the project, and it truly shows in the quality of craftsmanship. Every finish was precise, clean, and built to last. After seeing the results of our kitchen remodel, we confidently hired them again for our bathroom remodeling project — and once again, they exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for a reliable kitchen remodeling company in Cape Cod that also delivers exceptional bathroom remodeling services, Marcus Refinishing is the team to call. Professional, responsive, and top-quality work from start to finish. ~ sancler n

Marcus and his crew were amazing to work with for our cape house renovation! I had the company demo and install two kitchens, install laminate flooring, remove wall paper and paint all the walls, drywall and retile two bathrooms and replace and repair wood trim, siding and windows. They installed all new GFCI outlets and wired the kitchens and bathrooms. They also installed all the cabinets and did all the plumbing work. Marcus was extremely communicative via txt or email. He was always available when needed and his guys were always polite, courteous and very very hardworking. The painter is so meticulous and the quality of the work was impressive. Overall, just a great experience working with them and just overall very honest and nice people. I also believed that his pricing is very reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend working with them. ~ Rany B

Overall, a great experience! The workmanship, professionalism, pricing, and finished product exceeded my expectations. It can be challenging to secure a quality contractor on the Cape. When you do, they either do not have the time to fit you in, or the price is 2X what you would pay elsewhere. The owner, Marcus, did not disappoint. He provided a same day quote, and completed the project within a week. Most importantly, the overall workmanship and quality was impressive. As an engineer, I expect nothing short of perfection, and Marcus' team delivered. Suggest asking for Vitor and Eliel if it's a tile project - They are a great team with many years of experience. I recently hired Marcus Refinishing for a bathroom renovation and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They completely remodeled one of our bathrooms — new walls, tile work, paint, electrical, vanity, toilet, trim, and even expanded the shower and finished it beautifully with tile. The quality of the work and attention to detail were excellent. They also refreshed our upstairs bathroom by reglazing the wall tile and bathtub, installing new ceramic flooring, painting the entire space, and replacing the toilet and vanity. It honestly looks like a brand-new bathroom now. Marcus and his team were always on time, very professional, and easy to communicate with. The price was fair and the work was finished exactly when they said it would be. If you’re looking for someone reliable who does high-quality work, I definitely recommend Marcus Refinishing. Great experience from start to finish. We have also hired Marcus to install all new windows through our home this Spring! ~ RRP A

As an interior designer, I have worked with many contractors and handymen. Marcus is simply top-notch!! His knowledge and level of communication are by far the best. Him and his team are professional on every level! Yes, that includes they even clean up after themselves. He took my client's 2 outdated bathrooms back to the studs. These 2 bathrooms are now magazine worthy (don't worry, I will post pictures soon). Marcus is highly skilled and dependable. I look forward to working with him and his team on many projects in the future! #designvisioncometolife #simplytheBest ~ Michelle R

The Cape can be a difficult area within which to find reliable and high quality contractors. Marcus is an exception to that rule in every respect. He performed work in our West Dennis home on several occasions, including tile and bath work that created a new appearance at a fraction of the price of a an actual remodeling. Importantly, Marcus maintains excellent communication and follows through with scheduling. He provides a high quality result with very fair pricing. I recommend Marcus without reservation. ~ Seth R

Marcus put an enamel finish on my (dad's) hideously ugly tub. Lots of people can do that probably but he was so unlike the other people I have been working with on the Cape. He responded quickly and thoroughly to each of my messages, He scheduled and gasp--showed up when he said! He was quick, took care with my fixtures, thoroughly cleaned up after himself, and the tub looks great. I don't hesitate to recommend him and will be looking him up for other, non-tub work. Thanks Marcus! ~ Jen D

Orleans MA Marcus refinished a tub unit for me this week It was amazing how perfect it looked upon completion. Original color was beige/almond...now white...looks brand new...he arrived on time...protected all of the surrounding room and fixtures...I passed his information onto my local contractor who suggested we refinish rather than redo...he didn't have a recommendation for me so I found Marcus on my own...he now has someone to recommend! ~ douglas h

“Marcus Refinishing did an exceptional job restoring. The attention to detail and craftsmanship were truly impressive. Marcus was professional, reliable, and clearly takes pride in his work. He carefully explained the process, delivered on time, and the final results exceeded our expectations — everything looks brand new again. We couldn’t be happier with the quality and service, and we highly recommend Marcus Refinishing to anyone looking for top-notch refinishing work.” ~ Douglas G

Try finding a tile contractor who can do professional grade herringbone insallation with barn-board tiles. You can't. They don't exist...or so I thought. I had at least 5 tile guys turn down our herringbone installation. Marcus tackled it like an Italian mosaic professional from the era of DaVinci. His eye for details is unparalleled. He's on our short list for contractors as I know I can trust him with the end product and no mistakes. Thanks Marcus! ~ Front D

The work was pristine, he was on-time and professional and I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to family and friends. The best part is that he saved me thousands and thousands dollars in renovation work. Could not be more pleased!!! ~ J F

Marcus refinished our very old tub. It is gleaming now--it saved me from doing a tub replacement. It was a pleasure doing business with him. He responded immediately to my inquiry about refinishing the tub, he looked at pictures of my old tub, gave me a quote, and scheduled a day/time to complete the job. He showed up on time on the day scheduled. He is reasonably priced and extremely professional. I am very happy with my tub! ~ Susan S

Marcus and his team have completed several projects for us, including a bath remodel, entryway tile floor and basement exercise room flooring installation . His crew was hardworking and extremely professional. The pricing was very reasonable. We are quite pleased with the final results. We will certainly reach out to him for future projects and highly recommend him! ~ Lynn A

Marcus came to my home to repair a cracked fiberglass tub enclosure. He was able to come a few days after we spoke and did a terrific job. He showed me what he was doing every step of the way and was very honest. He even came back 2 days later, on his day off, to fix a bubble. He also worked on some small repairs and did a great job. He is great with communicating. I highly recommend him! ~ Ellen K

Marcus was incredibly professional and quickly responsive when I reached out! He came by right away and provided a quote and explained in detail how the reglazing would be performed. He provided a date for service and followed through exactly as he had informed me. Couldn’t be happier with results. Incredibly courteous, professional, and left the bathroom clean as a whistle! Highly recommend! ~ Jim L

Marcus and his team did an excellent job replacing our stair treads and installing vinyl plank in two bedrooms and a hallway. It looks absolutely beautiful. I will add photos in a bit. There was carpet in the rooms and on the stairs. Very efficient, fast and courteous thanks Marcus. I would definitely recommend and will use them for future jobs 😊 ~ Lori N

Marcus is a true professional and he and his crew pay attention to detail and client desires in a courteous manner. I had a bath enclosure refinished as well as a new tile floor installed. The bath is so stunning now I feel hesitant to use it! A truly beautiful job that will add value to my home. I highly recommend Marcus as well as his many services ~ Stephen N

Have a cottage on cape that is seasonal and is closed and unheated during the winter. Definitely tough on the tub! Marcus did a refinish for us and we couldn't be happier!! Very professional from the first contact, Did a great job and then a year later when a spot appeared, he returned and did a repair,,, and was very sensitive to our schedule! Looks brand new gain!! Easily earns a 5 from us!! ~ Barry K

Marcus reglazed the downstairs shower at my house at the Cape. This job required him to fix the work of a previous contractor. He was able to give us a reliable reglazed finish without the pealing that occurred from the previous contractor. Marcus was responsive to all my questions and arrived at the times we scheduled. He is a professional you can depend on! ~ Rod

Marcus has done a number of projects both at my house and my moms house. He has redone fireplace tile, put in new kitchen backsplash, he has refinished two showers and he has done shiplap on walls and ceilings. He has also done bathroom tile for my Aunt. He is trustworthy, does a great job and cleans up when he is done. I can’t say enough good things. ~ Jennifer R
